Fashion Inspiration - Joanna Newsom

You either love or hate her music, but you cant deny the girl has style. Joanna Newsom looks like a wood elf. Her voice is swooping and cat-like in the best possible way, I think. And her songs are just amazing. She certainly has a special way with words.

Today is Mexico's Independence Day! I thought it was a good time to post some pictures of my trip to Mexico this summer.

My second day in Guadalajara, it rained so hard, the streets were flooded. I mean flooded. It looked like we were driving through a lake. It was very nerve-racking.

         I have such great memories of Mexico. It has a special place in my heart, and it always will. I was going to stay there for my last year of high school, but I freaked out while taking a test, and I lost my nerve. Maybe I will go to university there, for a year. After I perfect my Spanish reading and writing skills, anyway.

This woman is my idol. Everything she does, I adore. Her style is amazing, and her music and voice are just magic.
