Conjoined twin gets engaged

Check this oddity out. *o*

I mean, it's cool that they're living a normal life and all, but it's just odd. I wonder what the fiance has to say. He must be a pretty awesome guy. It makes me feel better about my situation, though. I mean, if a conjoined twin can find love then there's hope for me still!

So beautiful

I've finished all assignments for Literature, Economy, and by tonight, art. That leaves French, which isn't so bad. Once French is done, all I have to do is the finals, and then I'm done with high school FOREVER. This is a beautiful thought.

Been watching Disney movies. I want to go to Disneyland now!

Finally I signed in! Blogger was being difficult for some reason. >:o

Anyway, what's new? Erm... nothing. Doing school stuff, workload has lessened, but that's only because I don't have any more work assigned, just working on things that I haven't turned in yet. Run-on sentence FTW.

Mom is doing okay. there are about four rounds of chemo left, then she's getting some kind of weird radiation, then more chemo. I feel really useless sometimes. Or helpless. Both.

I guess I should look at the positive. At least this whole ordeal has made me stronger and braver. I try not to worry so much at what can happen and focus on the present. It's hard sometimes, though. The present isn't always a happy place.

D&D character

This was a fun quiz!

I Am A: Neutral Good Human Druid/Ranger (1st/1st Level)

Ability Scores:

Strength-12

Dexterity-11

Constitution-14

Intelligence-14

Wisdom-16

Charisma-10

Alignment:
Neutral Good A neutral good character does the best that a good person can do. He is devoted to helping others. He works with kings and magistrates but does not feel beholden to them. Neutral good is the best alignment you can be because it means doing what is good without bias for or against order. However, neutral good can be a dangerous alignment because it advances mediocrity by limiting the actions of the truly capable.

Race:
Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.

Primary Class:
Druids gain power not by ruling nature but by being at one with it. They hate the unnatural, including aberrations or undead, and destroy them where possible. Druids receive divine spells from nature, not the gods, and can gain an array of powers as they gain experience, including the ability to take the shapes of animals. The weapons and armor of a druid are restricted by their traditional oaths, not simply training. A druid's Wisdom score should be high, as this determines the maximum spell level that they can cast.

Secondary Class:
Rangers are skilled stalkers and hunters who make their home in the woods. Their martial skill is nearly the equal of the fighter, but they lack the latter's dedication to the craft of fighting. Instead, the ranger focuses his skills and training on a specific enemy a type of creature he bears a vengeful grudge against and hunts above all others. Rangers often accept the role of protector, aiding those who live in or travel through the woods. His skills allow him to move quietly and stick to the shadows, especially in natural settings, and he also has special knowledge of certain types of creatures. Finally, an experienced ranger has such a tie to nature that he can actually draw on natural power to cast divine spells, much as a druid does, and like a druid he is often accompanied by animal companions. A ranger's Wisdom score should be high, as this determines the maximum spell level that he can cast.

Savvy?

I went to the movies with my mom today. Pirates of the Caribbean 4. It was pretty cool, but the first movie is definitely the best. I was kinda disappointed that there was no mention whatsoever of Will or Elizabeth, but whatevs. It was nice to see that Captain Jack has a heart. <3 Also, the mermaids were the coolest part.

We went to the matinee, so we almost had the theater to ourselves. Just a few awesome seniors and like five kids who looked like they skipped school to go see the movie. We had the best seats.

And what did my mom have to say about the movie? (It was the first Pirates movie she saw):

Mom - "He walks kind of funny, doesn't he?"
Me - *lol* "Yeah, he does"
Mom - *trying to impersonate his walk* "Why does he walk like that?"

There are some things that cannot be explained, mom. *lol*

Yucky spiders are probably crawling around my bed D:

I have two spider bites: on my collarbone and on my thigh.

They don't hurt or anything, but the one on my thigh already left an ugly scar. The only upside I see is the possibility of getting spidey powers.

I want me a Cloche hat. 1920's Love!

So... what's new, what's new? I have a sunburn. Yeah. I've been swimming almost daily since about Friday. Am peeling and slightly tan, which I think looks weird on me. ~ Pale Skin Love~ Swims are really nice, exercise makes me feel good!

I'm watching the History Channel, something about the Dust Bowl. It's kind of sad how those people had to live through nearly-constant sandstorms.

Paulina's going to have her Confirmation today. I'm wearing a pretty black dress. :D Pics later, maybe.

Slacking in school. I'll be surprised if I get anything more than a low C in Literature. Damned essays. Econ is improving, but I still have a C, which is two letter grades lower than my dad expects. -__-

Geeky Y U NO face:

Oh, Oh! I watched the movie Henry and June last night. It was okay, a little unnecessarily florid, but I liked the clothes. I feel quite neutral about the sexual nature of the movie. I don't know, it didn't really move me or anything. I mostly wanted to watch the movie because I am a fan of Anais Nin's quotes.
