I am trying to reboot my old laptop. Problem is, I don't have a recovery disk or even the instruction manual. That plus the fact that the shit isn't even turning on is driving me insane.
I am taking a small break from this and making myself the first hot chocolate of Autumn. :>
I love autumn. I used to be a summer kind of girl, but this year, not so much. And it's still raining and I love it. So, overall I am happy today.
Picture of me, the insane cat lady:
I didn't plan this outfit at all. Those are my old as dirt Hello Kitty pajamas I've had since I was probably eleven, and the shirt was the first one I pulled out of my closet. And Luna. <3

Listening to new Evanescence CD. Amy Lee's voice is possibly my favorite of all voices. Possibly.
So. I really want to use this gif for something:

Maybe once I get my license, and again when I get a job. :) Speaking of which, guy at Best Buy said that applying online is best. So I shall do that. *Doing it now.* *nervous again*

OH GOD, AND AN INTERVIEW TOO! *dies*
WHOA. I JUST HAD THE WEIRDEST EPIPHANY EVER. I'm watching The Lion King 2, Simba's Pride (I actually like this sequel. So what?) and I just realized that when my dad tells me a million times to be careful when I go out and such, he's doing it because he loves me and worries about me. I know, I know, DUH. But I seriously thought he said that because he thinks I can't take care of myself. Wow, I need to stop rolling my eyes when he says that. I'm a bitch sometimes, I know.
In other news, I might apply for work today. *nervous tremble* Party City, Macy's, Best Buy, they're all hiring for seasonal jobs. Sounds good, even if I work on Christmas Day, it's not like we're going to do anything special. Ugh, but I don't know how to do this! I've never worked a bleeding day in my life (unless you count about fifteen hours of community service I did in middle school, which I don't). Do I need a resume? I don't know what to put on it. Should I add the fact that I had good grades, or is that stupid? Merlin's beard. *Is now more nervous*

I had a bacon cheeseburger today.
The Spanish-dubbed version of Napoleon Dynamite is hilarious, but for an entirely different reason than the English version. I usually don't mind English dubbing of foreign movies, but I never thought of how it might sound in reverse. Now I know. o.O I'm pretty sure they only have two voice actors for the entire movie, one female and one male.
So, I've wanted to write and illustrate a children's book for a long time now. Thing is, it's really hard. I know, I know, how fucking hard can it be? But for some goddamn reason, it is. Like, I kind of know what the theme is going to be, and the main character, and even a little bit of the plot, but I'm still having slight issues planning how it's going to look. I want the drawings to be the main focus, but I want the writing to be entertaining, too. Maybe I'm thinking too much into this. -__-
Estradia is still my main focus, though. ^_^

Lame blackout.
Yay, I survived the blackout. Yeah. It was actually really disappointing, I was hoping to have an interesting survival/adventure story of how we survived several days without electricity, but no. The SDG&E people exaggerated this blackout. We spent maybe nine hours without electricity, which was nothing.
However, I'm very proud to say that the moment the power went out, I sprang into survival mode. Step one, find the man-powered radio and tune in to the news. After I hear that it'll be a while before the electricity will come back, I move on to step two: Find all flashlights and put them in reaching distance, also gather some candles and matches.
Optional is step three (which I did, I wasn't panicking or anything, but I rather be safe than sorry): Gather all emergency survival bags and first aid kits and put them somewhere you can get quickly. Call me stupid and paranoid, but how the hell was I supposed to know this wasn't a terrorist attack or something? Or maybe in a terrible twist of fate, a huge earthquake struck right then in the middle of our blackout? San Diego has a few fault lines, after all.
Hehe, I feel dumb now, but people will be thanking me once the zombie apocalypse comes down on us. I don't plan on dying, you know. :P
Anyway, yesterday was Paulina's friend Juliette's quinceaƱera, and I danced until my feet got blisters. It was awesome. I straightened my hair for it, and it is now slightly past my waist. Yay!

Conjoined twin gets engaged
Check this oddity out. *o*
I mean, it's cool that they're living a normal life and all, but it's just odd. I wonder what the fiance has to say. He must be a pretty awesome guy. It makes me feel better about my situation, though. I mean, if a conjoined twin can find love then there's hope for me still!
