I am cleaning my room, listening to E-Type (Free Like A Flying Demon- good song), looking forward to a hot chocolate later and maybe a couple hours of playing my old Jak 2 game. I have nothing to complain about.

I'm oddly happy despite a hefty art final that I have to do and mom's chemo tomorrow. I'm not complaining at all, this is a very nice mood I'm in.

Happy (late) Thanksgiving! Food was good, spending time with family was better. I am a happy girl. :)

I feel like playing old PlayStation games all day, not even getting out of my pajamas.

I might be getting a puppy! My aunt has a Blue Heeler puppy (mixed with something else, I forgot) and she told us we could have it. She's so cute!! We would have brought her with us, but my dad went insane and didn't want us to take it just then. So we're getting her in December. If my dad doesn't change his mind, which wouldn't surprise me. Fuck that, though, I'm taking her whether he wants it or not.

Also, this is the cutest monkey ever. This coming from a person who dislikes monkeys very much.

I want the Doctor Who theme as my ringtone.

I was just starting to feel shitty. I came on here to bitch about it and everything, and then I started watching an episode of Doctor Who. I INSTANTLY FEEL BETTER. Doctor Who is a god. It may be the closest thing I have to an actual religion.

Cousins are coming over tomorrow. The house is clean. My new computer needs an internet connection.

Whee, I am going to the Renaissance Faire today!!! I'm so excited.

I am going to take a shower now, which means that it will be very cold. D: I abhor showering in the morning.

I also happen to have about four hundred dollars to my name right now, which I am going to use to buy myself a new laptop. Any old cheap thing will do, I just want it for games and my art. :) Anything will be better than the stupid laptop I was using for art. Yeah, it still won't turn on. It's reached the end of its life. RIP.

I am also hungry, and I'm craving bacon.

I am trying to reboot my old laptop. Problem is, I don't have a recovery disk or even the instruction manual. That plus the fact that the shit isn't even turning on is driving me insane.

I am taking a small break from this and making myself the first hot chocolate of Autumn. :>

I love autumn. I used to be a summer kind of girl, but this year, not so much. And it's still raining and I love it. So, overall I am happy today.

Are you going to Scarborough Fair...?

I watched Stardust yesterday, and I loved it. <3 OMG, I'll be honest when I say I'm not a huge fan of Robert De Niro, but the scenes with him and his ship's crew made me laugh. Oh and OF COURSE BEN BARNES WAS IN THE MOVIE. I swear, I'm not stalking him. ;P He just likes me, I think.

I am probably going to see the new Twilight movie. Not by choice, either. My friends are FORCING me to go with them. TO THE MIDNIGHT OPENING SHOW. I may just ditch them. Psh, I'm not happy about having to waste money to go see a movie that I will not like.

Oooh, and it raining today. It's perfect, I don't have to go out either. :D I think it's hot chocolate time! Yay!!

Phew! Finished the art project last night. I tried to take a picture of it, but the thing has a serious glare.

I went out to see Paranormal Activity 3 on Saturday with several friends. It was more funny than scary to be honest, but I had heard that it was really scary, so I was covering my eyes the entire time but was somewhat disappointed. It was made funnier by the LOUD outbursts from my scared-as-hell friend. Oh, and he's gay and hilarious. This is important.

SPOILERS, in case anyone reads this and cares. 

*Little person under a sheet appears in frame.*

My friend: "DANG GIRL, GO BACK TO BED."

People in the theater: *laugh* *Secretly thinking that my friend is going to a special hell for talking during the movie.*

*Little person under the sheet is now behind the blonde babysitter.*

My friend: "Oooh, girl, ooh, girl-"

 *Person disappears from under the sheet, leaving it in a crumpled heap on the floor*

Entire theater: *Screams*

My friend (much louder than everyone else): "OH MY GAH OH MY GAAAHH!"


Heh, well, it was kind of a had-to-be-there moments.

I am finally going to color some comics. Now that I have time. :)

Went downtown with my friends yesterday. *checks time* Oh, wait, technically two days ago. (Monday already? Fuck that.) Downtown San Diego is the best. I want to live there one day. Sure, there are creeps, but you just have to know how to handle them. ;P You gotta be tough to live there. Anyway, we went to eat at Sammy's Woodfired Pizza and we got a free sundae because the waiter was super-nice. He got a good tip that day. ^_^

So, pretty fun weekend!

Uh, what else? Oh yeah, I finished that book I was talking about in my last post. Kitty and the Midnight Hour. It's very good. I'm pretty sure I saw like ten other books of the same series at Border's, so, I'll have to read those too eventually. o.O I don't particularly like leaving a series unfinished.

Started reading The Lord of the Rings, because if I don't read those books I will be an embarrassment to the fantasy-geek community.

Erg, tired. Better go to sleep before I start rambling like a fool.

I'm watching To Catch a Predator. My god these guys are so gross.

Didn't get through the entire HP series this weekend. I just finished the fourth book. Hm. I'll have to take the last three a bit slower, 'cause I have work to do this week. Hurm, reading them makes me want to write a fan fic so bad. I will write.

Also!!! I might be going to Orlando soon to visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and other theme parks (DisneyWorld and such). It's not certain, but it's a definite probability. :D I might have to miss a couple of days of school, but that's just a bonus!

Ugh. I'm still watching To Catch a Predator, and one of those slimeballs brought his toddler with him to the house. My god, those guys are seriously going to a special hell. >:(

I tried to draw Simba from the Lion King. LOL NEIN. Animals are hard to draw.

DMV tomorrow. Cannot effing wait. Man I hate that place. And the people who work there. They're all perpetually grumpy. N'aime pas.

Anyway, I said in a previous post that I wanted to read the entire Harry Potter series (for like the seventh or eighth time, no joke) in one sleepless weekend. Well, I am going to make it happen! Tomorrow is Day One of Harry Potter Madness (after the DMV obviously). Yay! I have no life and I know it. No need to point it out. :D

Been in Nogales, Arizona. It's hot as hell there. About 107 in the day. bleeeeh.

I'm back home now, home sweet home. :)Anyway, a little something happened in Nogales. Me and my dad were going to take both my laptops to this computer repair place, because they both had some issues, nothing major, just annoying. On our way in, my dad accidentally dropped the bag with both my laptops in it. And my newer laptop's monitor shattered. Heh, it was kind of a bummer. But yeah, my dad felt really bad. I didn't really get mad or anything, cause I knew it was an accident. The computer repair guy ordered a new one and I should be getting it back on saturday.

Some good times in Nogales with the fam. I got to meet my almost two month old niece. Monsoon season was starting, and the Arizona desert skies were gorgeous.

I'm going to meet my friends today. Should be fun. I iz happy.:D

Next week will be really fun, were all going to Sedona, Arizona. It's one of my favorite places in the world, that I've been to obviously.

Weekend in Los Angeles

I had a lovely weekend. The Getty was fun. There was an exhibition on art and furniture and clothes of 18th century France. It was really beautiful, and really extravagant. It was a very over-the-top era, but it was really pretty. My favorite piece was an old harpsichord. *.* I wanted to play it really bad! It makes such pretty sounds. LA is so diverse, it's seriously the best place to go people-watching. Many people from many different races and different subcultures.

My mom bought me this very cool sketchbook/notebook thing as a graduation present.

Oh god. If there's one thing this picture makes me feel (besides pity) is relief that I didn't remain physically fifteen years old. (I mean, of course I will always look younger than my actual age thanks to my short stature, but I don't have the ugly braces, nor quite that many pimples, and the awkward is thankfully at a minimum.)

I've finished all assignments for Literature, Economy, and by tonight, art. That leaves French, which isn't so bad. Once French is done, all I have to do is the finals, and then I'm done with high school FOREVER. This is a beautiful thought.

So, I ended up not going to the concert thing. My sister took another friend instead, and I'm glad she did because her friend is going to enjoy it a lot more than me. So... yay? Now it's a plain old Friday, which isn't so bad.
